Candidate Privacy Notice

As Argeset Yazılım Danışmanlık San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., in our capacity as data controller under the KVKK, we process the personal data you provide as part of your job application as described below.

Personal data processed

Identity: first name, last name.
Contact: email, telephone, province of residence.
Professional experience and education: CV content, educational background, position applied for, driving licence information, cover letter.
Interview and assessment: interview notes and the results of aptitude tests, language tests or personality inventories (where applied).

Important: Please do not include special categories of personal data such as race, ethnic origin, religion, sect, health, membership of an association or trade union, or criminal convictions, or your photograph, in your CV. We do not request such data and do not take it into account in our assessment.

Purposes of processing

Receiving and assessing your application and conducting recruitment processes,
Contacting you about interviews and the process,
Assessing your suitability and competencies for the position,
If you give your explicit consent, considering you for future open positions as part of our talent pool.

Legal grounds and method of collection

Your data is collected electronically via the job application form on our website, by email (ik@argeset.com) or through career platforms, and is processed on the basis of Article 5(2)(c) (directly related to the conclusion of a contract) and Article 5(2)(f) (legitimate interest) of the KVKK. Retaining your application in our talent pool after the process is based solely on your explicit consent (Article 5(1)); not giving this consent does not affect the assessment of your application.

Transfer

Your data is shared only with the managers involved in the recruitment process and our Human Resources department; it may be transferred to competent public authorities where required by law. Your data is not transferred abroad.

Retention period

Your application is retained for 6 months after the recruitment process is concluded. If you give explicit consent for the talent pool, this period is 1 year. At the end of the period, all your application data, including your CV file, is automatically and irreversibly deleted from our systems. CV files are kept in a protected area that cannot be accessed via the web and can only be accessed by authorised HR staff.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right:

to learn whether your personal data is being processed,
to request information about the processing if your personal data has been processed,
to learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
to know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom your personal data is transferred,
to request the rectification of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately, and to request that this be notified to the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
to request the erasure or destruction of your personal data where the reasons requiring its processing no longer exist, even though it has been processed in accordance with the KVKK and other applicable laws, and to request that this be notified to the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
to object to any outcome to your detriment arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems,
to claim compensation for damages if you suffer loss as a result of the unlawful processing of your personal data.

How to apply

To exercise the rights listed above, you may submit your request, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, by one of the following methods:

via the Data Subject Request Form on our website,
by a petition bearing your wet signature, together with documents proving your identity, delivered in person or through a notary public to Fetih Mah. Tahralı Sk. Kavakyeli İş Merkezi B Blok Kat:3 Daire:7, Ataşehir / İstanbul,
by sending an email to info@argeset.com using a secure electronic signature, a mobile signature or the email address you have previously notified to us and which is registered in our systems,
via your registered electronic mail (KEP) address.

Your application must include your full name, Turkish ID number (for foreign nationals, nationality and passport number), residential or business address for notification purposes, email address for notification (if any), telephone number and the subject of your request. Your request will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible according to its nature and within thirty days at the latest. If the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK Board).
