Type the ID of the machine you want to reach. If a permanent password is set, you connect without waiting for approval.

Do I need an account to use SetDesk?
No. When you run the app, each machine gets its own nine-digit ID and you can connect without an account. Sign in to the panel to manage your devices and team.
Is the connection secure?
Yes. Sessions are end-to-end encrypted; keys are generated on both ends and never sent anywhere. The relay server only carries encrypted bytes it cannot decrypt.
Can someone connect without the other side’s approval?
Only if a permanent password has been set on that machine (unattended access). Otherwise the other side sees who is connecting and which permissions they request before accepting.
Which operating systems are supported?
Windows (single .exe), Linux (X11) and macOS 12 or later. The macOS version is currently used to connect to other computers.
